Description

Ferncroft is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, or possibly earlier. It is constructed from timber framing and is weatherboarded, topped with a thatched roof that has two levels and features one eyebrow dormer. The cottage has red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. It is one storey high with attics and includes five casement windows, three of which are two-light, while the window to the right is a 20th-century bay. There is a vertically boarded door located to the left of the bay, and a small lean-to is present on the right return.
