Description

Great Clacton Hall is an 18th-century house, now operating as a restaurant. It is constructed of plastered brick with a brick plinth, and has a double-range red plain tiled roof surmounted by a central red brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high with attics and a cellar. It features a three-window front, with small-paned vertically sliding sashes, the outer window being tripartite. A wooden eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. A later flat-headed porch with a round-headed arch, narrow side panels, and side lights to the returns, and a four-step approach, leads to a four-panel door with two glazed panels above.
