Description
Saddlers Cottage is a 18th-century building located on the south side of St. John's Road in Great Clacton. Originally a shop and cottage, it features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a red plain tiled roof. The cottage has two storeys and a right red brick chimney stack. To the left, there is an outshot that extends below the eaves level. The front has a two-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. On the left side, there is a shop front with a fascia supported by brackets, flanked by two four-panelled doors and a large six-paned central window. At the rear, there is a two-storey weatherboarded wing.
