Description
Cranfield Cottages, attached to the south of Cranfield, is a house and attached cottages dating from the 18th century, with facades that may have earlier origins. The structure is timber framed and plastered, featuring ashlar line decoration. It has red plain tiled roofs that are arranged over three levels and includes two plastered brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high with attics. The section known as Cranfield, located to the left, has a two-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, along with a central six-panelled door that has a moulded surround and pediment. The lower level cottages have a four-window range and three doors, each with top lights. There is a gutter on brackets to the right.
