Description

A range of four attached cottages, dating from the early 19th century, is located on the north-west side of Harwich Road in Little Oakley. The cottages are timber-framed and have been clad in weatherboards, with a roof of handmade red clay tiles. They are arranged in a single range facing south-east, with two internal chimney stacks at the rear. A full-length lean-to extension has been added to the rear, along with a single-storey extension beyond. The cottages are one storey high with attics. There are four 20th-century casement windows, plus two more set in flat-roofed dormers. Four plain doors provide access. The rear lean-to extension is cement-rendered. The cottages are listed for their group value.
