Description

A range of three cottages dating from the early 18th century. The cottages are timber-framed and have been clad in weatherboarding, with a roof of handmade red clay tiles. They are arranged in a single range facing east, featuring one axial stack and an external stack at the left end, with a lean-to addition at the rear. The cottages are one storey in height, with attics. The ground floor has four early 19th-century sash windows, each of 16 lights. The first floor has three similar sash windows and one 20th-century replacement, all set within dormers with felted segmental-arched roofs. There are two 20th-century half-glazed doors and one 19th-century four-panel flush door, each with a shallow canopy supported on profiled brackets. The roof is of a gambrel design.
