Description
This is a group of three headstones located approximately 35 metres southeast of the south door and east of the path at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, St. Thomas and All Saints. The headstones are made of stone and commemorate Thomas Wiggins, who died in 1811; James Nott, who died in June 1721; and Francis Borrow, who died in 1734. Each headstone features curved and raised heads. The headstone of James Nott is adorned with foliate scrolls, cherubs, and trumpets, while Francis Borrow's headstone includes a central crown, two cherubs with trumpets, and a skull and crossbones. Additionally, there is a body and foot stone attached to Thomas Wiggins' headstone.
