Description

No. 4 Church Road is a cottage from the early 18th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It features a red plain tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear. The building has two gabled dormers and plastered chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. It is one storey high with attics and includes small paned vertically sliding sash windows on the left and right. The central entrance has a vertically boarded door with a simple surround and a small flat canopy supported by brackets, which is dated 1670 above the door.
