Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, hipped to the right and left, with the apices of the two rear wings visible. There are front and rear left gault brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range of two-light small paned casements with Gothic heads. An off-centre right entrance has a two-panel, two-light door with a simple surround and a flat canopy supported by console brackets. At the time of the last survey, the property was being restored, with the front timber frame exposed, showcasing the ground cill, side girts, top plate, close set heavy wall studs, and through braces to the first-floor end bays.
