Description
Ropers Farmhouse is a building that was originally a barn, dating back to the early 16th century. It was converted into a house between 1982 and 1986. The structure is timber framed with red brick walls and features a red plain tiled roof. There is a central hipped midstrey that now includes a 20th-century glazed porch and door, along with a jettied first floor window and an outshot to the left. The farmhouse has two storeys, with three 20th-century ground floor windows and five skylights on the roof. To the right, there is a 20th-century glazed door. The building is aisled, with arched braces supporting the tie beams and a strutted aisle.
