Description

This is a range of six mid-19th century timber-framed and weatherboarded houses, built in two blocks. Each block contains two houses of two storeys and a two-window range. The windows are a mix of original double-hung sashes with glazing bars and 20th-century casements. Numbers 12 and 14 have a central panel displaying the name "Eastern View" and the date 1867. Number 18 is named "Clinker Cottage". Numbers 12 and 14 have a pantiled roof with a hip, while numbers 16 and 18 have a tiled roof. The houses form a group valued for their collective architectural character.
