Description

Nos 97 and 99 High Street are 18th century cottages that are timber-framed and weatherboarded, with cement rendering on the upper part and a colourwashed brick wall on the north gable. These cottages were altered in the 19th century and are one storey high with attics. They feature a three-window range with casements that have glazing bars, as well as boarded doors. The roofs are tiled and adorned with ornamental crest tiles, and there are three gabled dormers. These cottages are included for their group value with nearby properties.
