Description

Morris House is an early 19th century plastered house featuring a central block that is two storeys high and has two windows. It has side wings, each one storey high with one window. The windows are double-hung sashes with thin glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The entrance boasts a six-panel fielded door topped by a rectangular fanlight with ornamental glazing bars. This door is framed by a doorcase that includes reeded pilasters, a frieze with fret ornamentation, and a modillion cornice. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles and is hipped.
