Description

High Hall Cottage is a cottage dated 1712, though it may have an earlier origin. It is timber framed and faced with red brick, featuring some black headers. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and has three gabled dormers. There are red brick chimney stacks on the left, rear, and off centre right, with the right stack having a panel at the base inscribed with "DH 1712." Additionally, there is a twisted gault stack at the rear. The cottage is one storey with attics and has a three-window range consisting of various small-paned casements and horizontal sliding sashes. There is a 20th-century gabled red tiled porch with a glazed door located off centre to the right.
