Description

Nos. 12 and 14 Oaklea are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and are weatherboarded, topped with a grey slate roof. The cottages feature a central red brick chimney stack and are one storey high with attics. There are two catslide dormers that contain 19th-century casements. The front has a range of four windows, each with four light casements and transoms, along with two vertically boarded doors. The doors and windows are adorned with pentice boards above. Inside, the original doors and staircases are preserved.
