Description

This is a garden wall that dates back to the 17th century, with some later repairs. Made of red brick, it encloses the sides of the front garden of Tiptree Priory. The front section of the wall has been cut down to a lower height and is topped with plain railings. The return walls also feature red brick coping. This wall is mentioned in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, volume 2.
