Description
This barn, located approximately 30 metres east of Vaulty Manor, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, while the roof is clad in corrugated asbestos. The barn features a red plain tiled gabled midstrey and has a brick plinth. There are half-height lean-to extensions on both the right and left sides of the midstrey. To the left, there is a granary that includes two brick doorways beneath it; this space was once used as a goat house but may have originally been built as kennels. The barn consists of four bays and has hanging knees supporting the tie beams.
