Description
This is a barn and an attached outbuilding located approximately 30 meters southwest of Noaks Cross Farmhouse. The barn dates from the 16th or 17th century, while the outbuilding is from the 15th century or earlier. Both structures are timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, featuring red plain tiled roofs. The barn has a gabled midstrey with vertically boarded double doors and consists of four bays, with arched braces supporting the tie beams, a side purlin roof, and through bracing to the walls. The smaller outbuilding has an open midstrey, a heavy timber frame, and two bays, with a crown post type roof that includes collars for every rafter pair.
