Description

No. 31 Church Street is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It has a timber frame with 19th-century painted brick facing and a red plain tiled roof. To the right, there is a lean-to extension with a red pantiled roof. The cottage features a right red brick chimney stack and a dentilled eaves cornice. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range of small paned casements, although the central window is blocked. There is a matching window on the right extension, and the entrance consists of a vertically boarded door with a segmental arch above it.
