Description
This is an attached barn and cartlodge dating from the 18th century, located approximately 30 metres south-west of Bacons in Bradwell-on-Sea. The structure is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof clad in corrugated asbestos. The cartlodge, which is at a lower level, has a hipped roof to the right. It features a vertically boarded door on the left and two double doors on the right. Inside, there is a cobbled floor, with through bracing to the walls and a side purlin ridge board roof that extends out at the rear. The cartlodge consists of three bays and is included for its group value.
