Description
This coach house and stables, built around 1824, is located approximately 30 metres northwest of Woodham Mortimer Lodge. It is constructed of red brick and features a grey slate roof. The building has a central bay that is slightly set forward and includes a pediment, with stone urn finials at the corners. It stands two storeys high, with horsehead roundels on the first floor to the left and right, and a four-light window on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of double vertically boarded doors with top lights above, framed by a segmental arch that has a keystone inscribed with "J.G. 1824 J.B.C." On either side of the entrance are small paned casement windows, and there are vertically boarded doors in recessed arches to the right and left.
