Description

Hermitage Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are timber-framed with rough rendering to the walls, and weatherboarding to the ground floor. The roof is covered in red plain tiles. The cottages have two storeys and feature four ranges of three-light iron casement windows with diamond-leading and pightle hinges. The ground floor windows have Gothick heads. A recessed area in the centre of the front has two wooden posts, a central passageway, and two centred openings, with hooped iron railings across the recess. There are two red brick chimney stacks.
