Description

Ivylands is a house that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The house has two storeys and features a three-window range of 19th-century casement windows, along with one 20th-century leaded light window. At the south end, there is a 19th-century, two-storey extension made of painted brick, which is set at right angles to the main structure and has a red single Roman tile roof and 20th-century leaded casements. The original pierced and decorated bargeboards remain a notable feature of the house.
