Description
The building is a rectory, dating from the 17th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. It has two storeys and an L-shaped plan, featuring a seven-window range of 18th-century vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented Doric doorcase, which includes a frieze, metopes, triglyphs, modillions, and fluted pilasters, leading to a six-panel door. There is also a 17th-century leaded casement window on the north wall. The front has a parapet with a moulded cornice, and the building includes two wings that are hipped at the rear, along with red brick chimney stacks.
