Description

Stanford Rivers Hall is a house dating to the 18th and early 19th centuries, with possible remnants of earlier building phases. The front elevation is of square red brick with a stone coping to the parapet and a moulded cornice. A central band runs horizontally across the facade. It is two storeys high, with a three-window arrangement of small-paned vertical sliding sash windows. The central entrance features a 20th-century panelled door with two lights and a light over, surmounted by a moulded pediment with scroll brackets. Original features within the house include an original staircase and a glazed dome.
