Description

This building is an outbuilding located to the northwest of Stanford Rivers Hall Farmhouse, dating from around 1800. It serves as stables with a granary above. The rear of the structure is timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, while the front features red brick on the ground floor, also weatherboarded above. The roof is hipped and covered with red plain tiles. The building has two storeys, with four stable doors and four small paned windows on the ground floor. There are five windows at varying heights on the first floor, which were likely originally drying doors. Inside, the building has chamfered bridging joists.
