Description
This is a barn located 20 meters south of Greenleaves, dating from the early 15th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a red plain tile roof. The barn is four bays long and features a hipped midstrey to the southeast, which consists of two bays and has large doors. Notable architectural elements include heavy jowled posts, side girths, and arch-braced tie beams. The roof structure is a queen post design with intermittent collars and wind-braced side purlins. The joints include halved and bladed scarfs, with one blade housed, and the corner posts are arch-braced to the front and sides.
