Description

Camps Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1580. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with 19th-century casements that have rusticated surrounds. The farmhouse also displays 19th-century cusped bargeboards. The structure has a double range that runs at right angles to the lane and includes both 16th-century and 19th-century red brick chimney stacks. Inside, part of the heavy oak frame is exposed, showcasing soffit tenons and diminished haunches on the first floor throughout.
