Description
This is an early 19th century two-story house built of gault brick in a Flemish bond pattern, topped with a hipped slate roof. The front facade is three bays wide, with the central bay slightly projecting and featuring an open brick porch with a stepped, painted timber hood. The original four-panel front door is complemented by a rectangular fanlight above, and double-hung sash windows with six-over-six small panes and flat rubbed arched heads in painted reveals. A three-course brick string band runs between the floors. A two-story gabled rear block, also with a slate roof, and a modern parapeted extension in matching brick are present to the south. Three elaborate brick stacks are situated around the perimeter of the roof. Contemporary iron railings and a gate with spearheads and cast iron urn finials are located in front of the property.
