Description
The former coach house of Albyns, now part of Albyns Manor Farm, is an 18th-century building that has been repurposed as a farm building. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a roof made of machine-made red clay tiles. The structure is designed in an H-plan, featuring five bays of the coach house in the center, with wings to the north and south, facing west. Originally, there were five pairs of double doors, but as of July 1983, only two pairs remain. Each wing has two round-arched recesses and hipped roofs. At the center, there is a timber-framed and plastered clock tower topped with a hexagonal cupola that contains a bell, an ogival lead roof, and a wrought iron weathervane.
