Description

Braiswick Farmhouse is a late medieval timber-framed building that has undergone significant additions and alterations in the 19th century and has been recently modernized. The oldest part of the farmhouse features a hall range that is now 1½ storeys high, with a sash window and door on the ground floor and a tripartite casement window above. Attached to this is a two-storey cross wing, which has one tripartite sash window on each floor. The extensions of the farmhouse are of varying dates, and all sections are plastered with old tile roofs and tall brick stacks.
