Description
The Lodge to Terrace Hall is an early 19th-century gate lodge built on a circular plan and consisting of two storeys. It features a circular verandah with a slate roof supported by Doric columns, two of which at the entrance are reeded. The front door is recessed and has a glazed top made of small panes. On the first floor, there are three pointed-head casement windows. The conoid slate roof is topped with a central circular chimney made of gault brick. An escutcheon made of brick and flint is dated with the initials JL and EG from 1835.
