Description
87 and 88 East Hill are two adjoining buildings located on the north side of East Hill. Number 88 dates from the 18th century and features a rendered and painted exterior. It has three storeys with two windows that contain sashes with glazing bars, and a hipped slate roof. Number 87 is from the early 19th century, likely incorporating an earlier core. It is constructed of white gault brick, has two storeys, and also features two windows with sashes and glazing bars. The building has stucco window heads and a door surround, along with a six-panel door topped by a rectangular light. A terra-cotta roundel depicting the 'Good Shepherd' is also present. Both buildings, along with numbers 86 to 89, form a group of historical significance.
