Description

Nos 6 and 7 East Hill is an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It is two storeys high, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring decorative pargetting. The roofs are tiled, with a mansard design and a half-hipped end at the west. The building has a two-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and there is one doorway accessed by a flight of steps. No 6 includes a small modern shop on the ground floor and has an attic dormer. This property, along with The Ship Public House and Nos 6 to 10, forms a group.
