Church Cottage is an early 17th century timber-framed and plastered house with some brick detailing. The building has a red plain tile roof and is one storey high. It features a two-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sashes. A rear extension is present, roofed with pantiles. The house has a double-range plan, incorporating a newel staircase.
