Description

The barn located to the north-east of Peldon Hall is a mid-14th century structure featuring five aisles. It is constructed from timber framing and is weatherboarded, topped with a half-hipped roof made of corrugated asbestos. The barn includes a small gabled midstrey and has a crown post roof supported by arch-braced tie beams, with halved and bridled top plate scarfs. The eaves display a reversed assembly and jowled aisle ties.
