Description

This is a medieval barn, dating from the 15th century or earlier, located aligned east-west north of the moat at Woodhall. It features black weatherboards on the north wall and a midstrey facing south. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of five bays and is constructed with very heavy oak framing, with the main posts lacking jowls.
