Description

Newhouse Farmhouse is a late 16th century house that is timber framed and plastered. It consists of two parallel ranges and features 18th century external details. The west front has five sash windows with six-pane units above clear glazed ones on the first storey. The ground storey has two matching windows on each side of the front door, which is set within a dentilled segmental case and flanked by fluted pilasters. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and there are two red brick chimney stacks located in the central valley.
