Description

The former stable building, located approximately 20 meters southeast of Wivenhoe Station, dates from around 1860. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and features gabled roofs covered with Welsh slate. The elevation includes an entry and stable range, with a segmental brick arch above a plank stable door, situated to the right of a two-storey gable end. There is also a round arch above a casement window that serves the harness room and hay loft. The interior has not been inspected.
