Description

Rose Cottage is a probably 18th-century timber-framed and plastered building with one storey and attics, featuring a thatched roof that is ridged and gabled. It has a central red brick chimney and one eyebrow dormer on the front slope facing northwest. The cottage includes a central thatched lean-to porch, a pair of sliding-sash windows, and a casement window to the left. There is a modern one-storey extension with a ridged and gabled roof clad in machine-made tiles, which has two sliding-sash windows, an eyebrow dormer with casements, and a pair of casement windows. Additionally, there is a flat modern extension at the rear.
