Description

The building is a 16th-century studio located to the south of the Queen's Head Public House. It is timber framed and has a T-plan layout, consisting of two storeys. The front ground storey features a 19th-century shop front with a central door and 12-pane fixed windows on either side, all covered by a flat leaded hood. The first storey is rough-cast in panels and has a pair of 2-pane horned sash windows. The roof is peg-tiled, and there is a taller rear section that contains a former bakery with an oven made by Messrs Barton and Stearn of Sudbury.
