Description

Ferndale Valley House is a 18th century building located on Aldham Ford Street. The house features a single long range with a timber framed rear wall and partitioning. Its roof is ridged, gabled, and covered with peg tiles, adorned with a modillion cornice. There are five windows on the first storey, which have a sill band, and four windows on the ground storey, interspersed with three doors. The southern door is framed by a pedimented wooden case. The windows have gauged heads and are straight. Additionally, there are two red brick chimney stacks positioned equidistant along the ridge.
