Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse, originally built with a timber frame and plaster walls, with some brick detailing. It has a red tile roof. The original house was rectangular in plan and has since been extended to create an L-shaped layout, with a newer weatherboarded addition. The front of the farmhouse has two storeys and attics, and originally featured a three-window arrangement of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. There are three hipped dormers in the roof. Brick chimney stacks are located at the ends of the front range. The north end of the house dates to the late 18th century, while the south end was rebuilt in the 19th century. A late 19th-century trellised porch has been added to the front.
