Description

This is a 16th-century house located on Church Road in Copford. It is timber-framed and rendered with a red plain tile roof. The original house had four windows across its front, now fitted with 19th-century casement windows. A gabled crosswing is present at the east end, with a single-storey range set at right angles. The house was divided into separate cottages in the 19th century and is now combined into a single dwelling. Local records suggest there is a plaster medallion with an inscription dated 1702 within the building.
