Description

This is a late 18th century farmhouse, likely dating from around 1800. It is a timber-frame building with plaster infill and a roof covered in old red tiles. The house has a hip roof and a symmetrical, rectangular plan, presenting a three-window facade to the road. It follows a double-pile plan, with paired chimneys set into the mid wall. The front elevation is symmetrical, featuring flush box sash windows with 8-pane glazing and a central six-panel door sheltered by a flat hood supported on shaped brackets. A modern two-storey extension, designed to be in keeping with the original, has been added to the rear of the building.
