Description

No. 55 Crouch Street is a late Georgian building with an addition on the west side. It is constructed of grey gault brick and has two storeys, attics, and cellars. The roof is tiled and features two hipped gables. The front has a parapet and a modillioned cornice. On either side of the central doorcase, there are two-storey shallow bow windows, all fitted with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. The entrance includes a Doric porch with panelled reveals, a six-panel door, and a rectangular fanlight. No. 55 is part of a group with Nos. 55 to 61 (odd).
