Description

Crouched Friars is a building dating from 1776, constructed of grey gault brick. It features a large additional wing added in the later 19th century on the west side. The original structure has two storeys and an attic, with five sash windows that include glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a central Tuscan doorcase topped with a pediment head. A modillion cornice runs along the top, and the building is capped with a hipped tiled roof.
