Description

Wellington Place, dated 1837 on a name plaque, is a terrace of buildings located on Crouch Street. Constructed from grey gault brick, it consists of three storeys with one window each, featuring sash windows, some of which have glazing bars. The original doorways are found at Nos 117, 119, and 121, each framed by a Tuscan half-column surround, with panelled doors and rectangular lights above. No 119 has a modern shop front, while No 121 has a modern door. Brick pilasters are present at either end of the terrace, and the buildings are topped with a slate roof. Nos 113 to 125 form a group with No 1 Lexden Road.
