Description

Forge House is a mid-18th century timber-framed building, originally with a weatherboarded exterior and a red plain tile roof. It has two storeys and originally two windows, featuring double-hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. A central door is framed by moulded detailing and architraves. A mid-19th century casement window is located at first floor level. The building has a rectangular plan and retains its original end chimney stacks. A lean-to extension with a red pantile roof adjoins the west end, while a single-storey extension with a gambrel roof and a casement window extends from the east end.
