Description
Horn Farmhouse is a 15th-century building featuring a jettied crosswing. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, and stands two storeys high beneath a red plain tile roof. The façade includes one range of 19th-century casement windows, while the timber frame is exposed. On the gable front, there are side lights to the remains of an original tripartite window. The side wall retains original mullioned windows. Internally, there are extensive remains of the timber frame, including a crown post roof. A red brick external chimney stack is located on the west side, and there is a late 18th-century extension to the east, which is also two storeys tall, built in red brick with a red plain tile roof. This extension features one range of double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars set in gauged brick arches.
